I’m SelkieSkins, a rope artist and educator specializing in the intricate, beautiful, and deeply expressive art of shibari. My journey began with a passion for connection, creativity, and self-expression, and has grown into a practice where every knot and line tells a story.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, you’ll find me performing in local dungeons, at decadent underground parties, and at sultry, high-energy events — tying myself and those who offer tribute for the experience.

Futomomo Workshop

21+ Event

This beginner-friendly workshop is open to everyone, and no prior experience is required to join.

In this class, we will explore single and double column techniques and see how they come together to create a complete tie known as Futomomo.

Futomomo, which translates to “thigh binding,” is a beautiful and versatile tie that involves folding the leg and securing it to the thigh using a combination of single and double columns.
